Vodafone decided to launch Rs 700 handset in Indian market to target the customers of rural areas and that will not be able to spend money more than 1000. It’s the cheapest mobile phone and people who buy the second hand mobiles will also be targeted within this price range. Vodafone have decided to target the customers below Rs.1000. This will lead new competition between mobile phones companies to launch low cost handsets.
